All I can say is TGIF. I've been very busy with little time to post. I'm seeking experts in corporate restructuring for an upcoming story, as well as experts in the legalities of email. As always, please contact me for additional information.

Of course, I always find time for a laugh amid my "to do" lists. I came across this hilarious Web site the other day. Who says scientists don't have a sense of humor? On a slightly more academic and serious note, I'm following a Washington Post series on the land of my ancestors, Finland. It's quite fascinating actually. I'll wrap up this post before I whip out my cell phone and burst into a round of "Finlandia" by Sibelius.

It's been awhile since I've blogged, but I have a good reason: I was on vacation and had relatives visiting. Now I'm getting back into the swing of things, and today I'm looking for experts on the topic of consumer confidence. Please contact me for more information.

While surfing, I was intrigued by this new Gallup survey of the top ten professions today's teens hope to pursue. Journalism didn't even make the list. I guess I'm not surprised since the profession of journalist ranks somewhere in the vicinity of used car sales these days. For those of us who love journalism, however, there's nothing else we'd rather do than get stressed out trying to meet deadlines. It must be some sort of disease, really. On another note, Coldplay's lead singer apparently doesn't like selling so many records as to raise his record company's stock price. Life's rough, isn't it?
